Using social media as an enterprise or a firm is now pretty common. But that alone isn’t enough. Communicating with social media require setting up a real strategy : planned post, an editorial line, choice of different social media… Also, if you want to know if your strategy is good, it is necessary to follow really closely those different indicator of perfomance (KPIs : Key Perfomance Indicators). Social medias allows you to enlarge your brand image and your reputation.

To check if your strategy works well, you can observe :

  • Number of fans reacting to your post (comments and organic reach of your post)
  • Number of mention using your account by other users (Hashtags, reference, re-tweet, upvotes…)
  • Number of visit on your website that you have type the adress in your bio.

It is absolutly essential to expand your community on social medias in order to increase your visibility and your audience.

To check if you strategy works well, you can observe :

  • Number of likes on your different post or the number of followers on each different social media
  • Progress of your community. You can check the difference of followers betwenn each month for each of your social medias account.
  • In case of sponsorised campaign, Watch out about your acquisition cost.

Engagement :

Engagement is the number of time where others users worked on your post (like, comments,share…). It is fundamental to consider the different type of interaction to discern your fans opinion on your brand, product, or institution.

To check if you strategy works well, you can observe :

  • Number of interaction (likes, shar, comments…)
  • Growth rate of those interaction
  • Rate of answers made by the questions on social medias.
  • Comment’s feelings
  • Lost of followers

Conversion :

Of course your présence on social media have a meaning : to convert potential customers to a real customer. You need to give them the reason to approach your brand and go over the social medias.

To check if you strategy works well, you can observe :

  • Traffic on your website coming of social media, with Google Analytics.
  • Rate of click on a link that you posted.
